The Club Lounging Collection, a spectacular release of Australian designed and crafted Lounges, Ottomans and Tables represents a sophisticated new development for Australian furniture design studio and manufacturer – Gohome. The collection is designed by award-winning designer, Ben McCarthy, in collaboration with the team at Gohome, for use both in commercial and residential environments.
The collection includes single, 2.5, and 3 seater lounges, without or with privacy screens, a range of pill shaped ottomans (in various configurations) and an all-wood laptop/side table. The entire collection speaks the same design language derived from crisp curves and retro-inspired shapes. The simple geometry of both the curved armrest/backrest and the seat is elevated on solid wood legs, providing a strong presence/stance in any environment.
The name for the design is derived from the cosy atmosphere of old speakeasies and lounges, that gave birth to the typology of the ‘club chair’. Environments known for soft voluminous shapes, and furniture designed for comfortable conversation.
The Club Lounges and Ottomans are available in 4 FSC certified wood leg species and stains – American Oak Natural / Rock Maple / Walnut / Black Stained Oak and in either a range of House fabrics by Kvadrat Maharam and Leathers by Pelle, or the unlimited possibilities of custom upholstery fabrics/leathers.
