About HÅG
We make high-quality chairs that are designed to last. The way they look, feel and affect you is uppermost in our minds. All inner parts and outer details are rigorously thought through. Bringing you the best in Scandinavian design. The historic town of Røros in Norway is the home of the HÅG brand, and it has been an integral part of our story for more than 60 years now.
Celebrating Movement
As humans, we are meant to move. HÅG designs chairs that help you stay healthier, more active and alert by enabling effortless movement of your whole body while you sit and work. The result is more freedom, greater comfort and better productivity.
HÅG Design Collaborations
HÅG has been collaborating with external designers since 1972. In the early days, the development of ideas and new products was outsourced to them. But during the ‘90s, a more dynamic design collaboration began to take shape, beginning with the development of the HÅG Scio (HÅG H03). For the first time, our own designers were a key ingredient during the development of ideas, together with the external designers that we had invited in.
Balanced movement ensures active sitting
Active sitting forms the backbone of HÅG. All our chairs have our unique HÅG inBalance® technology. This enables your whole body to be in continuous movement the entire time you are seated.

Making everything easier for you
We involve you, the user, throughout our design process. Via extensive research, studies and user testing, we consider your needs and preferences, and apply them. This helps us create chairs that are easy to use, and adapt to whichever way you work, in whatever setting. Now, and for the future.
We are pioneers in sustainability. We have a well-documented track record for reduced energy consumption, minimalized waste, and strive to make products from recycled materials, which in turn can be recycled.
